What is Employ Georgia?
Employ Georgia is a secure, web-based system used to connect job seekers with job openings.

Does it cost anything to use Employ Georgia?
No. This site is part of the workforce system and is funded with federal tax dollars.

What does the "s" stand for in your URL?
URLs that contain "https://" mean the connection is secure; therefore, sensitive information, such as your social security number, is safeguarded.

What is my username?
Once an account is created the system defaults the username to the email address used to create the account. Employers and job seekers have the ability to change their username after the account has been created. To change the username, employers will select the link "Account Settings" located at the top of the page once they sign onto Employ Georgia. Job seekers will select the link "My Account" located at the top of the page once they have signed onto Employ Georgia.

What are the requirements for creating a password?
Your password must be between 6-20 characters and must include at least one number.

How do I reset my password if I've forgotten it?
From the sign in box, select the "Forgot Your Password?" link. You will be prompted to enter your email address and your password will be sent to the most recent email address on record for your Employ Georgia account. Once you have logged in, remember that you can change your user name, password and security questions in My Account.

What other information regarding my account can I update?
Job seekers have the ability to update their password, security question (s) and email address via the "My Account" link and employers are able to update their password, contact information, manage their company names, descriptions and logos, and manage any saved searches via the "Account Settings" link.
